File Specifications
What to Upload:
When uploading your files, please be sure to include all native files with the links and fonts used in the artwork. Along with those files, please include a PDF version so that we may ensure that your files print properly.
File Size and Resolution:
Files should be built at no less than 150-200 dpi at final size. Feel free to build your files at a smaller, proportionate size, but remember to make your resolution higher to account for the enlargement to the final trim size. Bleeds and trims should be included in your files.
Software Programs Supported:
Adobe Creative Suite CS4
Color Space:
Please produce all art files in a CMYK color space with all colors specified PMS tones so that we can ensure the accuracy of the colors. If there are no PMS tones noted, we cannot guarantee that the colors will reproduce the same on our printers as it does on your monitor or desktop printer.
File Transfer
Solar Imaging can set you up with your own folder on our servers to transfer your print files to via an FTP client such as Fetch, Fugu, Filezilla and others. Please contact us and we will send you the information you need included the host name and your unique username and password.
